Automatización Ganadera S.L. (Augan) attended Salamaq 2026, held from 3 to 7 September in Salamanca. The company had its own stand at one of the most important events in Spain's agricultural calendar and one of the major livestock showcases in southern Europe.
This year's Salamaq brought together 470 exhibitors from 15 autonomous communities and occupied nearly 20,000 square metres. The fair once again combined livestock exhibitions, innovation, training and professional activity, with 1,493 purebred animals belonging to 38 breeds, as well as around 40 talks, presentations and workshops involving more than 50 experts. According to the organisers, the event exceeded 90,000 visitors.
For Augan, taking part in Salamaq was a great experience and an opportunity to bring its solutions closer to professionals across the agricultural and livestock sector. During the fair, the team met in person many farmers who already trust our technology, while also speaking with visitors interested in improving efficiency, animal welfare and the daily management of their farms.
At the stand, Augan presented different solutions based on IoT sensors, designed to help farmers automate farms and remotely monitor the most important parameters of an operation. These included silo sensors for tracking feed levels and consumption, farm sensors and livestock sensors for monitoring the environment, as well as CO2 sensors, NH3 sensors and ammonia sensors, which are essential for controlling air quality in livestock buildings.
Augan's technology also centralises information in a swine app or swine application, allowing farmers to consult data, receive alerts and make decisions from their mobile or web browser. The company also showcased its solutions for the field, including agricultural sensors and an NPK sensor for monitoring nutrients and other soil parameters in pursuit of more precise and sustainable agriculture.
